Family Session with the Mompremiers
We finally met him!
He was being carried over to us, cradled in his momma’s arms. She had just fed him and he was slowly scanning the scene and us with wide eyes. It was as if he was trying to determine if he liked the two strange people that were showering his parents with hugs.
Hey “squiggle!” I leaned in just inches from his nose so he could take a good look at me!
I’m finally meeting you and you are adorable! He cocked his head to the side, kinda like a puppy does and cracked a gummy smile. I don’t know how you parents manage to not spoil your kids rotten at this stage. I mean if he asked us to give him our car, I would’ve. All he had to do was give me that toothless grin again.
His outfit, didn’t make things easier. He had the appearance of a wise old soul. His crisp white shirt was tucked into his jeans and a pair of suspenders were holding the entire outfit together. We were smitten. Mr. Squiggle aka Evan is the love child of Anna & Scott. We photographed their classic themed wedding a few years ago at the Ballroom at Church Street in downtown Orlando. They made the trek from Orlando to meet us in Boca Raton to explore the woods with us for their first family session.
We were grateful for the golden rays of sunset but the magic of Evan’s laughter was the highlight of our evening. At the end of the shoot we all prayed together and this little man stretched out his tiny palm and rested it on my head during the entire prayer. I don’t know, but even though he was little guy of few words I felt he was praying for me too. And God heard every single word he said!
Anna & Scott – thank you for allowing us to meet your lil’ guy and spending time with us for your family session. Next time we’ll look out for the eerie spiders to avoid any more face to face encounters!
